A Slayton Weekend

It's been awhile since we've visited Jay's sister, Jean, and her clan in Slayton, so with the long weekend of Thanksgiving and no big plans, we decided to....ROAD TRIP! If you don't know, Slayton is tiny town about 30 minutes outside of Marshall, MN. It's your typical rural Minnesota town with a cafe or two, a small grocery store, and a on-stop-shop store that sells everything from hardware to diapers to M&Ms.

Although the weekend didn't include any big event (wait--I take that back--the trip to the Tentinger farm was pretty memorable for Eli), we did have a chance to visit with family that we don't see too often.

Thanks to Jean and Dan for having us for the weekend!

Jackie, grumpy Adam, Amanda, and Jean--what a good looking family!
