Our Life

The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family. ~Thomas Jefferson

Eli's Friends!

We're so lucky that we have so many wonderful friends and family in our lives. Some people we see often and on a regular basis, and some we only get to see once in awhile. We wish we could see everyone we love all the time, but life just doesn't work that way. No matter what, though, we always treasure the time we spend with those we are closest to. Luckily for us, we've seen some friends and family in the last couple of days that we hadn't seen in awhile.

On Saturday, we drove to the cities to visit Team Handeland. It was great to see Troy, Nikki, and Rylee again. Little Rylee isn't little anymore--she's almost 1 year old already! She played nicely with Eli and was fascinated by him. Thanks for the visit, Handelands! We're sorry we won't make it to the big birthday bash for Rylee, but we'll be thinking of you!

Isn't Rylee cute?

Then today, Cousin Julia arrived to baby-sit this morning! We hadn't seen her since Eli's baptism. She agree to come watch Eli while I had a job interview and went to class. Eli had a great time with her--thanks Julia! We hope to see you again soon!

Here are Eli and Julia, all smiles after their morning together.
