This week was my first week back to work (ok, I only worked half of the week), so Grandma and Grandpa Stanek came to stay in Little Falls to watch Eli during the day. There's no way we can thank them enough for all of their help! Not only did they help out by watching Eli, but they also cooked us dinner and kept Sadie busy during the day. Eli certainly loved his time with them--they took him shopping, garage sale-ing, and they went for many nice, long walks.
Grandma and Grandpa were here just in time to see Eli really grow. Just this week Eli has changed so much; he now grabs toys and hangs on to them, he's getting pudgier cheeks and a chubbier tummy, his hair is starting to stand up on end like fuzz on the top of his head, and he's gurgling more and more. Next week Eli will be spending his days with Grandma Burnham, and we're very thankful that she'll be around to take care of Eli and spend some quality time with him.
